After a lot of ground work, research, surveys, etc. SWITCH TEAM successfully conducted Mega medical rural camp at chinchavli village near Badlapur. More than 30 volunteers came forward in amidst the hot summer Sunday selflessly and tirelessly and volunteered for the camp.

The awareness among the patients of three nearby villages was created a week prior.

Our team consisted of 25 medical and paramedical professionals comprising of Physician, Orthopaedic surgeon, Gynaecologist, Physiotherapists, Dental surgeon, medical students, also management professionals and holistic experts in the field of yoga and naturopathy.

The Total number of patients treated: 127. General medical problems, nerve disorders, spine problems, eye problems, wounds, iron deficiency, blood pressure, dentalcheck-up, etc., were evaluated & diagnosed and partially treated.

Free and required medicines were given to all the patients.

First aid training was given to 3-4 literate(more informed) villagers and first aid kits were donated to the village for their perusal.

A step ahead:

This time we have extended our hands to the patients who require further operative management. We were able to diagnose and send a few of them for eye operations at total zero cost.

We are also trying to reach for some orthopaedic& general surgeries as well.

We urge many more medical/non-medical professionals to come forward and help us conduct such camps so that no part of the society is left untouched with regards to the medical facilities.

Help us to provide the best healthcare & spread awareness via such programmes and camps and help rural India SWITCH to a healthy lifestyle.
