A noble start was given to a lazy Sunday when the whole India was talking about standing in bank queues, when switch group organized a comprehensive medical camp on 13th November, 2016 on the outskirts of Badlapur city.

The camp was organized under the leadership of a local corporate politician found a unique and imperial way for his own birthday celebration as hundreds of affected flaunted the camp ground early morning.

The camp was well organized with multiple medical teams involved in this social service. This included physiotherapist, dentist, physician, homeopath, orthopaedic, gynaecologist, ophthalmologist, optometrist.

Various medical students from top medical colleges handled these teams & ensured that the OPD ran systematically & smoothly.

Along with handling the pharmaceutical needs of the patients as free medicines were dispensed as per the prescriptions.

As many of the villagers were not keen and motivated regarding their health, they did not turn up for a check-up and hence we could not evaluate all of them.

Around the day, more than 250 patients took the benefit of this camp by interacting with the team of doctors & medical professionals.

The organizers ensured that the medical team carried on their work with efficiency by providing them full support in handling the OPD. Refreshments and snacks were provided at regular intervals to keep up the spirits of the team.

Along with no cost dispensing of medicines, an optometrist after checking the ocular discrepancy provided for free spectacles to the patients. An eye for an eye.

The closing ceremony was done by felicitating the doctors & medical students with certificates who worked hard for the entire day by extending a helping hand towards rural India.
