Through Switch India NGO in association with Uplift Mutuals NGO there was a medical checkup camp held at Dhokali, Thane on 15th of September 2019.

The day began with getting acquainted with each other at the camp and also getting familiar with the camp's set up. As everything was well explained prior to avoid confusion, we were given our private desks to carry out general assessment, checking BP and vitals, giving Physiotherapy according to the references given after proper assessment and then ergonomic and hygiene counselling to each and every patient who appeared for the camp.

Before beginning the camp we were courteously served with refreshments and tea. We then started to screen the patients.

We really got to know the importance of community acquaintances and the importance of their health by interacting with them during the camp.

The patients were examined based on their chief complaints and were given proper reference to specialists when required. Also they were referred to Physiotherapist.

Physiotherapists did a great job by focusing on not only their pain but also on their ergonomics and posture correction.

Then they were given proper mental, physical and hygiene counselling. Over 100-150 patients were screened and were provided with proper attention and required medicines and Physiotherapy.

Later certificates of appreciation were handed over to the members of Switch India by the head of Uplift Mutuals NGO. The camp was ended with delicious lunch.

It was a good learning experience. We could actually improve our communication skills, our patient handling skills, plus we ourselves invented modifications for exercises in and at the places where proper resources won't be available.

The day ended with fulfillment, satisfaction and tired yet Happy faces.
