The Everest of the Sahyadris, Kalsubai Peak (5400 ft.) is the highest peak of the mountain range of Sahyadri. Kalsubai Peak is part of the Kalsubai Harishchandragad Wildlife Sanctuary.

Switch India organised night trek to kalsubai, again one of those endurance climbs where one needs to get out of the comfort zone & keep going to reach the summit.
Fifty participants with their backpack accepted this challenge & made their climb to this highest peak through heavy rains & dark night and reached the summit with the Indian flag at the dawn.
We also collected 7-8 bags of plastic waste & bottles while descending from the mountain & created awareness amongst fellow trekkers. We received a lot of appreciation & a huge round of applause from other trekking troops.
