SWITCH INDIA in collaboration with ROBINHOOD ARMY, conducted a Medical camp on 13th October 2019 in Andheri East, Mumbai.
The luxury of life glides in with the status of life, one has held for self.
Health defines an ensemble of wellbeing and relishing it, which we in collaboration with ROBINHOOD ARMY have been making achievable to all. Good Health being everyone's incentive to a better future, tiny chaps were examined for the same.
The locality being pretty much a decent area, it was easier to jot down the pros and cons of the check up, and also to rule out demographically distinguishable health conditions altogether.
It being nearby to industrial area, specially a smoke emitting set-up, nominal traces of respiratory tract infections or conditions could be usually prominent.
Their guardians were given elaborations of why the medical camp and some legit essence of their child's lush life as well. Talking about the participation, it was in abundance.
While the four of us stood across our booths and saw these kids run, tiny-foot to us, no-thing could trespass our delighted souls, more than that. Their smiles held the beauty of the calm and the compost.
Tinted thoughts of doing wonders to healthcare and humanity have never run-off our NGOs priority.
Delivering the same, the programme jotted below was followed, which was formulated to de-risk many of the further-to-arise medical illnesses or ailments in children.
Out of many delightful moments of peace and warmth, one of the best to stay forever is the sound, when a kid's heart beats to the lub-dub. That sound calms you down and simultaneously delivers the pride of being a doctor, who is capable of bringing about good health for humans.
Kids today are the country's tomorrow. Strengthening them means a healthier nation.
Disciplinary and obedient ladies and gentlemen, were our tiny tots who, after being told once maintained the decorum of the event, stood patiently with their parents and waited for their turns.
The front desk was handled by our partner NGO ROBINHOOD ARMY, where registration was carried out for the kids, who are under RHA’s academy.
Form wherein their demographic details were contented which further followed by the first lead of General Examination done by two of our volunteers Sagarika Mamadgi and Gauri S. And also Ruchita Kadali.
They precisely did their job wherein they examined kids from head to toe for PICCLE, VITALS and other mandatory parameters.
Anthropometry was carried out by Ruchita Kadali and Sagarika in coordination.
A proper BMI interpretation is the most important, for the kid, the doctor and the family most importantly.
In order to inform their parents, if their children needed little more delicious healthy meals. Therefore, BMI for individuals were calculated and kept a template for further use.
Also the happiness of knowing that their kid is under normal ranges, that happiness couldn’t just fit inside the box.
Not just the faith they put in us but also the kids' interest in knowing about themselves and their health could make anyone proud, and look up to their awareness.
Not to forget the fact that KIDS WILL BE KIDS.
Ruchita did the trickiest job of dosing the children with deworming meds, utmost sleekly. This helped roll out the frequent worm problems kids face, almost on a wide basis.
In the end, by the grace of time we could also give the kids some party time with babyish moments to smile and sparkle the glitter in their eyes, by clicking pictures of their luscious health, they held in their hands.
ROBINHOOD ARMY did a great job of conducting a medical camp on such a wide basis for kids, along with Switch India org. Their work, arrangements and inputs helped carry out a successful event. Without which the event would have been a hassle.
