Two participants of our 20 Days Abs Challenge have penned down their experience on the form of the following blogs:

Hello Folks! I’m Komal Singh, a final year Physiotherapy student. During this lockdown period, I’ve been regularly doing yoga and some cardio routine, not only for physical fitness but also for mental well-being.

The Switch India team has organised various fitness challenges like the stair-case, the Suryanamaskar and now the 20-days Abs challenge! I would like to thank the Team members for coming up with interesting yet easy-to-do challenges, and also for always guiding us about the correct way to do them.

The challenges helped me push myself up from the bed in the morning, and post ‘done’ on the group, when I’m finished with the exercise routine!

The “core exercises” were always neglected by me, maybe because they are too difficult and it’s tough to bear the pain. Then the Switch India Team introduced this hardcore yet engrossing “20 Days Abs Challenge”.

They posted a 20 day schedule on the WhatsApp group, and like always asked to post a ‘done’ on the group whenever the exercise for that particular day was completed.

For me, initially the 3 days were good, not too painful. But, as the days passed and the number of crunches increased, and along with them the seconds for the plank hold too, it was quite challenging.

But then, thanks to the Rest Days, they were my favourite. As the days passed, I didn’t give up and seeing so many unknown people posting done everyday motivated me a lot!

And, then finally on the 20th day, I could do 50 crunches and a plank hold for 60 seconds. It was unbelievable for me because I thought, I would never make it.

But again, thanks to Jash and rest of Switch India Team not only for coming up with such compelling and easy-to-do challenges, but also for inculcating discipline within me in this lethargic lockdown schedule.

These challenges have not only kept me motivated but also boosted a hell lot of confidence when I’m done completing them! Now, I am anticipating the upcoming challenges. The Switch India team is doing a great job by building determination, endurance and positivity even in this lockdown period!

Hello guys, I’m Saher Ansari. I am an engineering student. Working out at home was a challenge at best, and I needed to get fit in my own time.

I feel blessed writing this feedback on expressing gratitude towards your team Switch India. You are doing remarkable work even during this period of pandemic. It has been an absolute delight. One simple task everyday for a consecutive number of days.

The focus and encouragement pushes you harder to achieve the unachievable. I remember one of my cousin sisters informed me about this fitness challenge early in the month of May.

I started off with the 15 days StairCase challenge during the days of Ramadaan, then Suryanamaskar challenge and now Abs challenge.

These have been very helpful as I am able to maintain consistency which is an essential ingredient to success. Exercise keeps the body physically fit.

Day 1 included 20 crunches and 10 seconds plank workout. To my surprise, I finished it within 5 minutes. We were told to update on the group on a daily basis which makes you competitive whilst completing your targets.

You’ll be amazed to hear that Day 20 included 50 crunches and 60 seconds workout, more than a double and it still took me 5 minutes.

It’s a matter of time and effort. The images posted regularly on group are tremendously positive. The motivation provided is truly result oriented.

I think the “ultimate aim is to continue the fitness drive without any halt in between,” posted a few days before by Jash on group, is the bottom line of all Switch India fitness challenges. Glad to join this. Keep up the good work! Waiting eagerly for the next one.
